Location Per-Minute Surcharge: Alaska $0.07, Hawaii $0.07, Puerto Rico $0.21, US Virgin Islands $0.21, Guam $0.32, Saipan $0.71 Note: The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that payphone owners be reimbursed for calls using their phones made to toll-free numbers. The tariffed rate is 60¢ per call. (This charge is per call, not per-minute, and is in addition to the normal per-minute rate.) Calls originating in Alaska and Hawaii are an additional 7¢ per minute, calls originating in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are an additional 21¢ per minute.
